Donna Weston

October 24, 2020 – Donna Lynn Weston passed away and went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 24, 2020 at the age of 62. She is survived by her loving husband, Ken; two daughters, Claudia Fregia (Mike) and Audra Wong (Yu). Donna is the second youngest of six children that include siblings, Carolyn (Dave), Richard (Carolyn), Christina Greer (Tim), Bill Kramp (Dorenda), Betsy Law, as well as foster brother, Mike Calhoun (Brenda). She is also survived by granddaughter, Faith Fregia; mother-in-law, Bev Weston; brothers-in-law, Brent Weston (Gowmatie), Scott Weston (Wanda) and Craig Weston (Chris); sisters-in-law, Nadine Albrecht (Butch), Rhonda Hewko (Daryl), and many loving nephews and nieces. Donna is preceded in death by her father, William Kramp and mother, Mary Clayton, and brother-in-law Phillip Law.

Donna and Ken have been blessed with 12 ½ years of wonderful, beautiful marriage that is marked by a very deep and marvelous love for each other. Each one cherishes and adores the other. Their best times were in simply being with each other during quiet evenings at home and on weekends but also in church every Sunday with their church family, in yearly camping trips with family in Canada, and in a variety of family get-togethers that included reunions and extended visits.

Donna’s love for family members is demonstrated not only in her love for Ken, but also in her constant and abiding love for daughters Claudia and Audra. Her faithful prayers and encouraging support on a daily basis established a beautiful relationship that was both mother-daughter and friend-to-friend at the same time. Donna loved to be with family and friends. When coming into the company of others, her smile and countenance would light up the room. Many people have described Donna as a people person. Her love for family and friends was manifested in her unrelenting prayers for those close to her who were not Christians to receive Jesus as Lord and Savior.

Donna was a very successful realtor in the Calallen area of Corpus Christi before she retired in 2018. She excelled in helping people find a new home or sell a house. She developed many professional relationships; many of which developed into personal friendships. After retirement, Donna launched into a short career as a CASA advocate, which had been a goal of hers for many years. She also discovered the sport of pickleball and learned to enjoy it tremendously. Donna’s passion for pickleball was characteristic of her positive attitude in life and in her ability to find blessings in so many areas of her life.

Funeral services for Donna will be held at Annaville Baptist Church on Friday October 30, 2020 at 1 PM. Family visitation will be 11 AM – 12:30 PM at Annaville Baptist Church on Friday October 30, 2020. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the American Cancer Society, an organization that Donna found to be very helpful in her cancer battle, or to CASA, an organization dear to Donna.
