Wynona Dennis affectionately known as Nonie, age 84, passed away on April 13th, 2024 peacefully after battling dementia. She was born in Robstown on November 10th to John & Rose Blair.
She enjoyed being with family, working in the yard, and taking care of her plants. She loved to travel especially with her daughter to see the Dallas Cowboys. She was passionate in her faith and a member of the Orange Grove Church of Christ. She graduated from the La Feria High School where she was voted most beautiful and played the flute with the La Feria band. She worked for Southwestern Bell in Harlingen, then her career with AT&T took her to Austin, Texas. Retirement took her to Orange Grove Texas where she lived on her son's ranch.
She is survived by her son Ralph (Bubba) Young Gamble Jr (wife Lisa) and her daughter Denise Marie Smith (husband Arthur). Her brothers John William Blair Jr and Lem David Blair (wife Teresa).
Grandkids: Christoper (wife Gabi) Gamble, Coleman (wife Samantha) Wiederhold, Kristin (husband German) De Los Reyes, Aaron (wife Tisha) Smith, Justin (wife Emily) Bankston, Sara (husband Richard) Nelson & Nathan (wife Corina) Turrell.
Great Grandkids: Aubrey, Emma, Kelly, Harvey, Brady, Jase, Talen, Annalisa, Austin, Rigo, Jasmine, Ethan, Arianna & Lilyanna.
Numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Young Gamble and her second husband Roy Smith Dennis, her Father and Mother John William & Rose Marie Blair, and her grandson Ryan Patrick Smith.
