Wintfred Davis, Jr.

Wintfred Anderson ( W.A.) Davis, Jr. went to be with the Lord on October 20, 2021 after a brief illness.

He was a wonderful man, father and husband. He was in the Air Force and after returning home he worked for Transco on the pipeline for many years and was able to travel and see a lot of places. After his retirement he took up Farming again, it was in blood since he grew up farming with his father. He loved being on his tractors out in the fields. He took pride in his work and always produced a wonderful crop. He gave his all at everything he set out to do. He was a man that others respected and aspired to be like. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

His is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen Davis; daughter, Deb and husband, Mark; son, Wintfred Anderson (Andy) Davis III and wife, Di, Terry Christian and her husband, Jason; step daughter, Deanna Miser and her husband, Johnny; grandchildren: Dusty and his wife, Monica, Nicole and her husband, Travis, Melissa and her husband, Nathan, and Brad and his wife, Cindy, Matthew and wife, Erin and Douglas; great grandchildren: Daniel, son of Melissa and Nathan and Hannah, Madison and Lindsey children of Nicole.

The visitation will be held from 5:00PM - 8:00PM on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home with the Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas.
