Wilta Bailey

Wilta Irene Bailey, age 83, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away December 1, 2011. She was born January 25, 1928 in Manhattan, Kansas to Leonard and Alma Soldan. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jerry Bailey and her husband, James Bailey. She is survived by two sons, Roger (Martha) Bailey of San Angelo, Texas, Larry (Phyllis) Bailey of Mathis, Texas; a brother, Lyle Soldan of Wichita, Kansas; ten grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 3:00 to 7:00 P.M. with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Delain Tully officiating. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Association, 8700 Crown Hill Blvd., Suite 803, San Antonio, Texas 78209.
