William Wright

William Wayne Wright went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, December 14, 2018. Wayne was born on January 6, 1954 to Milus Polk “Chico” Wright, III and Barbara Ann Williams Wright. He was an amazing dad, husband, Bapo and friend. He was an avid outfitter, fisherman and photography enthusiast. Wayne was a man of simple pleasures and did everything his way. He was always available to anyone that needed help. He had a great love for his wife and boys, and his love for his grandchildren was immeasurable. He was their Bapo. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Barbara Gail Malek; and his nephew, Colton Jeff Wright. He is survived by his wife, Karen Wright; his sons, Cullen (Sarita) and Brandon Wright; grandchildren, Baileigh Wright, Mason Blanchette, Kyndall Wright, Tyler Pavlas and Chase Pavlas; brothers, M. P. Wright, IV (Chris), Larry Wright (Lynne) and Tracy Wright (Julie); sisters, Harriett Malek (Jimmy) and Denise Lawhon (Randy); brother-in-law, Ted “Buddy” Malek. Wayne is also survived by his lifelong friend, Lee Cooke (Sharon), as well as many nieces, nephews, and a long list of friends. Visitation will be from 5 PM until 7 PM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum .
