William Boyd Liska, 59, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Monday, November 5, 2012. He was born June 4, 1953 in Robstown, Texas to Bennie J. and Janelle Harper Liska. He was a farmer and rancher and owned Clover Construction and Community Gin in Driscoll. He was a member of the cotton, grain, seed, fertilizer and chemical associations and was a rancher at The Barbecue Ranch. Boyd was a member of St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Janelle Liska; his granddaugher, Madison Paige Liska; his wife, Frances Elizabeth Eastland Liska; his brother, Benjamin Allen Liska; his sister, Caroline (Dr. John T.) Thompson; his niece, Janelle "Nell" Thompson and his best friend, Kenneth Carl Cotten all of Corpus Christi, Texas. Visitation will begin at 1 P.M. with the Rosary to be recited at 7 P.M., Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 A.M. Thursday, November 8, 2012 at St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church in Robstown with Rev. Tom Showalter as celebrant. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Charles Wilson, Kenneth Cotten, Mike Hummel, Bruno Garcia, Hector DeLeon, Art Salas, Kevin Kaplin and Manuel Rios.
