William (Bill) Eugene Langley, 76, passed away Friday, July 10, 2020 in Corpus Christi, Texas.
Bill was born September 11, 1943 in Pampa, Texas to Vernon and Archetta Langley. He was a 1961 graduate of Pampa High School. After graduation he attended West Texas State University. He later transferred to the University of Texas where he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
He worked as an engineer in the oilfield, mainly in the gas pipeline business. Working at Shell, Cabot, Northern Natural Gas and Jayhawk Pipeline were some of the best days of his life and times he remembered fondly.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, his son Scott (Sharlan) of Pampa, his step-children, Jay (Carolyn) Woods of Beaufort, South Carolina, Mike (Vallee) Woods, and Jennifier (Bryan) Krnavek all of Corpus Christi, and his brother-in-law Alvin Scott of Cuero, Texas. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Shelby, Seth and Shaylee Langley, Katie, Emily and Jason Woods, Jeremy and Myka Woods, Alea Frankie, Kelsey and Stacia Krnavek, nephew Monty (Sherry) Scott and niece Leslie (Trace) Wunsch. He leaves behind many loving friends and relatives.
He is preceded in death by his father Vernon, his mother Archetta, his sister Beverly Scott, and sons Kevin and Mark Langley.
