William Causey, Sr.

William Charles Causey Sr., age 79 peacefully joined the Lord with his family by his side on Thursday, July 30th in Corpus Christi, Tx. He graduated in 1959 from Jesse Jones High School in Houston, Tx. He devoted 20 years of service to the United States Navy as a Chief Legalman. He retired from the military in 1980 to become a paralegal and private investigator.

He married his beloved wife Patricia Ann Schanen in 1966 and the couple had two children. William and Patricia resided in Corpus Christi for most of their 53 years of marriage. He enjoyed spending time on the back porch watching golf with Miller and spending time with the grandchildren.

William is preceded in death by his father Wilcie Cleo Martin, stepfather Henry T. Causey, mother Mary Imogene Lammond, sister Patricia Ann Martin and son Scott Anthony Causey Sr.

William is survived by wife Patricia Ann Causey, son William Charles Causey Jr., daughter-in-law Cherie A. Causey; grandchildren Dustin and Ashley Hamric, Scott and Emily James, Scott and Leslie Causey, Brianna, Thomas, and Beau; great grandchildren Landan, Natalee, Ellie, Payton, Waylon and William Scott.
