Wilbert (Buster) Poldrack, Age 89, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 23,2021. He was born November 7, 1931 in Taylor, Texas to Ida and Adolph Poldrack.
Buster was the owner and founder of Buster's Butane along with his wife, Shirley Poldrack, prior to their retirement. Following retirement, they moved to Lake Mathis where
he enjoyed boating, fishing, gardening, wood working and family time.
Buster was a Deacon of First Baptist Church of Mathis and then Calallen Baptist. He loved the Lord and his Church family.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 62 years, Shirley Minton Poldrack; father, Adolph Poldrack and mother, Ida Jones; brother, Edwin Poldrack; sisters, Lorraine Braden and Evelyn Boltinghouse and granddaughter, Brittany Keys.
He is survived by his three daughters, Lynda Brown of Katy, Texas, Martha (Jody) Keys of Corpus Christi, Texas, Vicky (David) Baku of Idaho; nine grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday July 29, 2021 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday , July 30, 2021 at 11:00 am in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will follow at 1:00pm at Seaside Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be John Harrison, Jason Hudgens, Justin Keys, John Morford, Jeff Pleasant and Donald Day.
