A Life Well Lived: Remembering Warren E. Albrecht

Warren Albrecht, age 77, longtime resident of Corpus Christi, passed away in Georgetown, TX surrounded by his family on February 8, 2025. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, generosity, and laughter that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Born on January 26, 1948 to Nannie Lou and Arno Albrecht, Warren learned the value of hardwork, honesty and treating everyone with respect from an early age. He approached every task with diligence and pride. Always willing to lend a hand, he offered his time and support without hesitation. He applied this same generosity of time, diligence and spirit to his church and fellow parishioners.

Family and friends were the cornerstone of Warren’s life. Married for 56 years to the love of his life, Barbara, they were true partners; raising their daughters, caring for loved ones, and traveling the world together. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and a loyal friend.

Warren found his calling when he joined Edward Jones in 1991. The ability to spend his day getting to know his clients and helping them reach their financial goals was everything to him. He enjoyed his work immensely, his clients loved him, and he was both respected and celebrated by his colleagues.

Warren will be remembered for his kind heart and his ability to find joy in the simple things. His warm smile and quick wit were infectious, and he always had a joke waiting in his back pocket.

He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, comfortable and valued, and his presence brightened any room. His memory will live on through the stories shared and the love he gave so freely.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Barbara; his children, Brandie and Leslie; his grandchildren, Drew, Ben, Sully, and Chris, and a host of other family members and dear friends.

There will be two Celebrations of Life in his honor...

Saturday, March 1st at 2:00pm at Cook-Walden Davis Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas. Reception to follow on-site.

Saturday, March 8th at 11:30 AM at Sawyer-George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas. Reception to follow at Jackson Woods Presbyterian Church.
