Viola Teel

Viola Klare “Vi” Teel passed away on December 30, 2015, in New Braunfels, Texas. She was active in civic organizations, serving on the Board of what is now “Corpus Christi Live” for many years. For many years she volunteered at Christus Spohn Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Corpus Christi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold L. Teel, Sr., in 1991, and also by four sisters and five brothers. Survivors include one daughter, Patricia Hutchison of San Marcos, Texas; one son, Harold Teel, Jr. ( Pam) of Bulverde, Texas; five grandchildren, Sherri Tadlock (Weldon) and Ginger Hutchison of Austin, Texas, Trey Teel (Amy) of Saginaw, Texas, Dr. Nathan Lindell (Kim) of Corpus Christi, Texas and Amanda Floyd (Lynn) of Orange Grove, Texas; great grandchildren, Deanna Jamerson, Sarah Bassi, Faith Pieratt, Micah Teel, Jacob Teel, Lauren Lindell, Nevin Lindell, Reagan Floyd, Sydney Floyd, Maddox Floyd, Brooklynn Floyd and Piper Floyd. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, January 4, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Floyd officiating. Burial will follow in Robstown Memorial Park Cemetery.
