Verlon Walker

Verlon Stephens Walker, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Sunday, October 16, 2011. She was born April 24, 1935 in Perry, Florida to Harley Hiram and Penny Sue Malcom Stephens. She was a homemaker and a lifelong member of Mayfield Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, and will be missed by all of her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Kenneth Ray Klar. She is survived by her daughter, Susie Klar (Calvin Glen) Alldredge of Houston, Texas; her son, Robert (Jeri) Niksich of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren, Christina, Charlie, Jennifer, Aimee, Justin, Albert, Mariah and Ric; 7 great grandchildren; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from Noon until service time on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
