Velma Heine

Velma Pauline Heine, 97, went home to be with our Lord on February 13, 2015. She was born on December 18, 1917 in Yoakum, Texas to Oran and Ellen Dow Jennings. She was Preceded in death by her husband Roy Lee Heine, Sr., three daughters, Juanelle Haskel, Paulie Wood, and Judy Prince. She is survived by three sons, Roy Lee Heine, Jr.,Donald Heine, and James Heine, 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Corpus Christi, Texas from 2:00 PM to 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 15, 2015. Funeral services will be conducted at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, February 16, 2015 at 10:00 AM with Brother Robert Simmons Officiating . Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Joe Steiger, Henry Wood, Robert Heine, Tony Heine, David Rice, and Don Schuster.
