Tsgt Ret. Sr.

TSgt Coye Lee Medley, Sr., USAF Ret., 78 of Calallen, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2011. He was born January 7, 1933 at home in Coffee County, Alabama to Carvin Lee and Cassie Mae Carmichael Medley. He retired after 20 years of service in the U. S. Air Force. He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers. He is survived by his wife, June Marie Hoch Medley of Calallen, Texas, whom he married on May 11, 1967; his daughters, Deborah Christine "Debbie" McClary and her husband Bobby Joe of Corpus Christi, Texas and Pamela Ann "Pam" Pierce and her husband Gene of Pflugerville, Texas; son, Coye Lee Medley, Jr. of Tallahassee, Florida; brother, Rex Medley of Houston, Texas; sister, Patsy Walker and her husband Richard of Opp, Alabama; brothers, Chris Medley and his wife Jean of Coffee Springs, Alabama, Donnie Medley and his wife Katrina of Slocomb, Alabama, Nicky Medley of Enterprise, Alabama, Ricky Medley and his wife Sue of Chancellor, Alabama; aunts, Dorothy Medley and Myrtle McLean; grandchildren, Tina Angelique "Angel" McClary of Edinburg, Texas, David Lee Pierce of Austin, Texas, Christopher Riley Pierce of Austin, Texas, Bobby Joe McClary, III of Corpus Christi, Texas and Daniel Gene Pierce with the USAF currently stationed in San Antonio, Texas; 8 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, many friends, fishing and hunting buddies. Memorial services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
