Thelma Solis

Thelma Lydia Solis, 59, of Calallen, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 in San Antonio, Texas after a long illness. She was born May 21, 1952 in Rio Grande City, Texas to Reynaldo and Irene Gonzalez Olivarez. She was employed by T T Electronics and was the treasurer for a local union for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Francisco Olivarez and Reynaldo Olivarez, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Roel Solis of Calallen, Texas; her daughter, Araceli (Leo, Jr.) Pavlas of Odem, Texas; her son, Roel O. Solis of Calallen, Texas; her grandchildren, Presley Paige, Tyler John and Chase Taylor Pavlas; her brother, Carlos (Paula) Olivarez of Rochester, Michigan; her sister, Rosario (Ricardo) Vela of Euless, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. The Rosary will be recited at 7 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Saturday, May 12, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with Rev. Msgr. Michael Howell as celebrant. Burial will follow at Robstown Memorial Park
