Thelma Sikes

Thelma Burks Sikes, age 91, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away September 17, 2015. She was born on February 4, 1924 in Erath County Texas to John and Annie Burks. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Sikes and was the last of eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children, Larry Wayne Sikes (Mickey), Barbara Ann Albrecht (Warren), Ruth Diane Sikes (Karen Kindrick), Dale Ray Sikes; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a large extended family. Visitation with the family present will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 21, 2015 at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Carla Matthews officiating. Interment will be at 12 noon in the Roselawn Cemetery in Alice, Texas.
