Thelma James

Thelma Louise James, 84, of Bluntzer, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her home. She was born February 18, 1931 in Tunica, Mississippi to Wesley Grant and Lotta Mae Turner. She loved to do karaoke, spending time with her family for Bar-B-Ques and playing games. She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Rudolph James; her children, Theresa Faye Frye, Vicki Lynn Sargent and Clifford Anthony James. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia James and Jessie Oshel of Robstown, Texas, Deborah (Dennis) Breazeale of Angleton, Texas and Louise (LV) Hord of Hernando, Mississippi; her sons, Ronnie James of Hernando, Mississippi and Larry (Becky) James of Ghent, Kentucky; 19 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Sons of Hermann Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
