Terry Webster

Terry Hugh Webster of Corpus Christi, Texas, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away December 23, 2017, after a short battle with cancer. He was born October 18, 1928 in Dodge City, Kansas to Hugh and Floy Webster. He graduated from Kemper Military High School in May 1946. Terry moved to Corpus Christi in 1947. He served in the United States Army and the Army Reserves from 1951 to 1956 and was in the Korean War. Terry married his wife, Rose Ellen, on December 23, 1969. Together they were a family with five children, who were all loved as his own, and who loved him as their Dad. Terry was a salesman most of his adult life. Terry retired from S&H Green Stamps in 1981. He joined his wife Rose Ellen in the business of R.D.A. Beauty Supply in 1984, where he sold beauty supplies to salons and cosmetologists in Corpus Christi and the surrounding area. They owned the business until they sold it and retired in 2009 to travel and visit their many children and grandchildren. Terry loved hunting, fishing and telling jokes, and mostly being with his family. Terry is preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sharon Meyers. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Rose Ellen Webster; children, Judy O’Briant, Kenny Simmons and his wife Lisa, Lucille Jones and husband, Gary, Mark Rush and wife Sandy, Mitchell Rush and wife Susan; grandchildren, Lisa Hall and husband Donnie, Brandon Womack, Chelsea Steers and husband Steven; Jason Simmons and wife Summer, Gary Jones, Shane Jones and fiancé Kelsie, Reed Jones, Tanner Rush and wife Bethany, Rita Rush, Megan Beggs and husband Kendall, Rebekah Rush; and three great grandchildren, Reese Hall, Rance Hall and Kenleigh Jones. The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to River City Hospice, out of Alice, Texas and their staff of nurses and caregivers for their wonderful and compassionate care of our husband and father in his final days.
