Terry Lynn Selcer, 76, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on July 15, 2024. She was born in San Fernando, California on September 13, 1947 to Helen and Norman Westgard.
Norman was a member of THE GREATEST GENERATION, and a highly decorated Navy Pilot in the Pacific Theatre in World War II. Helen was a most recognized salesperson for Dillard’s Department Store and her customers spanned for several generations due to her exceptional customer service.
Terry attended Roy Miller High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and had a passion for arts & crafts and enjoyed her family gatherings alongside her friends. She worked at HD Supply in Corpus Christi as an Office Manager alongside coworkers, Phillip Heard and John White. Terry was also a member of the Corpus Christi Women’s Bowling Association.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Candy Frost; son, Reagan Gillett; and special friend, Frank Voelkel.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 42 years, Lee Selcer and son, Riley Gillett; nephews, Glyn Owens, Craig and Scott Redd; grandchildren, Sara and Roswell Gillett and Atlantis Gillett; cousin, Era Lynn Longmire; special friends, Mary Gillett, Lawrence Neslony and Diane LaRoe, along with numerous friends.
A Celebration of Life will be officiated by Pastor Christopher Deluna and be held at the VFW located at 12030 Leopard St. Corpus Christi, Texas, 78410 on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at 2:00PM.
