Steven Hajek

Steven Hajek, age 62, of Sandia, Texas passed away February 14, 2010 after battling cancer. Steven was born July 29, 1947 in Flatonia, Texas to Emil and Stella Hajek. He was retired from KJ A/C and served in the United States Marine Corp in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Edward Hajek, Joe Hajek, Mary Taylor, Frank Hajek and Theresa Talley. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Hajek; son, Steven Hajek, Jr. (Dana) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughter, Wanda Cutsinger (Kevin) of Liberty Hill, Texas; six grandchildren; sisters, Dody Garrison (Sam), Pat Nesrsta (Woody), Emily Hajek, Edie Wilson (Orville). A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Memorial Services will be conducted on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bevans Welder officiating. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Lighthouse Hospice, 201 S. Carancahua, Suite 301, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401.
