Steven Calbat

Steven John Calbat, age 57, passed away Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his residence in Robstown, Texas. He was born June 4, 1952 in Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Steven Calbat was an employee of the Swiff-Train Company for 34 years where he worked as a Purchasing Manager and also in the Special Projects Department in the Houston and Corpus Christi branches. He was happiest at work and took great pride in his many years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Catherine Calbat. He is survived by his son, Jeremy Calbat and wife, Lorraine, and grandson, Corey Calbat of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughter, Connie Calbat-Adams and husband, David, and granddaughter, Paige Adams of Houston, Texas; his siblings, Gary and Tina Calbat of Bandera, Texas, Dan Calbat of Houston, Texas, Brian Calbat of San Antonio, Texas, Linda Myers of Onalaska, Texas and Rob and Holly Calbat of Houston, Texas; his step-mother, Levelle Calbat of Waller, Texas as well as many loving nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. A memorial service will be conducted on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 3:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel; 12497 Leopard Street; Corpus Christi, Texas 78410.
