Stephen Brown, Sr.

Stephen John Brown, Sr., age 58, of Robstown, Texas passed away September 19, 2010 in Houston, Texas. He was born in New York City, New York on March 7, 1952 and later adopted by Richard and Elsie Hahn Brown. Stephen served his country during the Vietnam Era in the United States Army. He was self-employed as a journeyman carpenter and took great pride in always doing the best job possible. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Marion. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Brown of Robstown, Texas; children, Stephen John (Monica) Brown, Brandy (T.J.) Wade, Gary (Melissa) Niederbrach, Jeff (Constance) Niederbrach; brothers, Danny (Brenda) Fenner, Frank (Elizabeth) Brown, Robert (Peggy) Masters; sister, Sherry Billingsley; grandchildren, Atlee Brown, Seth Knott, Madicyn Knott, Morgan Wade, Cheyanne Niederbrach, Desiree Niederbrach, Wyatt Niederbrach. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bevins Welder officiating. Services will conclude at the chapel.
