Shirley Poldrack

Shirley Minton Poldrack, age 82, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away October 28, 2016. She was born October 24, 1934 in Caldwell, Texas, to George and Clara Minton. She loved to fish when they lived at the lake, baking, and playing Skip-Bo with her grandchildren. She loved the Lord and her nightly Bible readings with her husband. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Clara Minton, sister, Martha Yoemans, brother, George Minton, sister, Scootie Minton, and a granddaughter, Brittany Keys. She is survived by her husband, Wilbert “Buster” Poldrack of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters, Lynda Brown of Houston, Texas, Martha (Jody) Keys of Corpus Christi, Texas, Vicky (David) Baku of Idaho; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren. Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will follow at 1 p.m. at Seaside Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Donald Day, Tommy Atkinson, Jason Hudgens, Justin Keys, John Harrison, Jim Polansky, Slick Yoemans, and Racer Yoemans.
