Shirley Heller

Shirley Marie Terry Tavares Heller, went to be with our Heavenly Father on January 19, 2015. She was born on October 15, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas where she was raised. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dean and Margie Terry; brothers, Gene and Benny Terry; sister, Wendy Walters; grandmothers, Bertie Mae Woods and Nell Terry Davenport. She was the loving and caring mother of four children, Dawn (Ernest) Wilson, Ken (Dee) Tavares, Tim (Tabitha) Tavares, and Josh (fiancee Amber) Heller; 13 wonderful grandchildren, Steven (Chistiane Pena) Hawkins, Travis Hawkins, Sarah Wilson, Laura Wilson, Erica (Brandon) Williams, Amanda Tavares, Kenny (Samantha) Tavares, Andrea Tavares, Samuel Tavares Stuckey, India Bonnette, Tristen Tavares, Nicholas Tavares and Tanner Tavares; five great grandchildren, Brayden Pena, Braxton Tavares, Kennan Tavares, Kaydence Tavares and Brayden Tavares; brothers and sisters, Richard (Karen) Terry, Floyd (Judy) Terry, Darrell (Betty) Terry and Donna (Robert) Lane; both previous spouses, Dan Tavares and Larry Heller; numerous nieces and nephews. She was a life-long member of Annaville Baptist Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Annaville Baptist Church with Brother Robert Simmons officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
