Shirley Baumle

Shirley Kay Baumle, 64, passed away on March 8, 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 21, 1951. She was a member of the Sons of Hermann Lodge #34 for 41 years. She was preceded in death by father, Melvin Hunt and brother, Royce Hunt. Shirley is survived by her husband of 31 years, Vic Baumle; 5 children, Whitney Shayne (Matt Herrmann), Tori (Billy Gaines), Lorrie (Allen Whitlock), Robert Baumle (Erica) and Larry Baumle (Amanda); 8 grandchildren; mother, Pearl Hunt; sister, Patty Hunt. She was deeply loved by so many close friends, aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Her family and close friends are forever grateful to be part of her life. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
