Sherman Eden

Sherman Wayne Eden, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 10, 1938 to Mack Eden and Novis Wren Eden. Sherman served 11 years in the Navy as a Jet Engine Mechanic, serving one tour in Vietnam. He continued his occupation as a jet engine mechanic working for Hughes Aircraft, CA, Lockheed, GA, and the Corpus Christi Army Depot. Retiring from CCAD in 1999. Sherman was a Scottish Rite 32nd degree Mason and a lifetime member of the NRA. Sherman was preceded in death by his mother, Novis Eden and parents Mack and Billie Eden. Three brothers, Jackie, Jamie and Mackie Eden. Sherman is survived by his wife of 54 years, Adell Carroll Eden of Mathis, Texas; sister, Laura (Donald) Kirchmeyer of Austin, Texas; 7 children, Richard Parker of Sinton, Texas, Roger (Angie) Parker of Friendswood, Texas, Rose (Bubba) Broughton of Calallen, Texas, William (Renee) Parker of Calallen, Texas, Mack (Elizabeth) Eden of Calallen. Texas, Glen (Laurie) Eden of Sinton, Texas, Jeannie (Jimmy) Nicholson of Corpus Christi, Texas;. 25 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren that called him Grandpa. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to your local Veterans Association or Shriners Organization in Sherman's name. A memorial service with family and friends will be held at a later date.
