Sarah Paredes

Sarah Beth Paredes went to be with the Lord January 18, 2018. She leaves behind her wife Tiffany Torres, mother Mia Paredes, father Jose Daniel Paredes, siblings Hannah, Jose and Christine, grandmothers Hilda Williams (Mia) and Concepcion Morales (Danny) as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Sarah was born in Corpus Christi, Texas May 14, 1993. She attended high school in Robstown, Texas where she was a member of the marching band and played the clarinet. Sarah and Tiffany were together for three years prior to their wedding September 29, 2016. Sarah found her passion helping abandoned and neglected animals of all kinds. She worked diligently with fellow rescuers to find loving homes for the abandoned. She also personally provided shelter, medical care, food and a tremendous amount of love to numerous neglected animals without a home. She was employed by Bath and Biscuits and enjoyed her work grooming pets with lots of love and care. Sarah was a devoted and loving daughter, wife, sister and friend. She was kind and giving of heart; embracing all that crossed her path with a warm smile and a sense of friendship like few others. She was unique and had her own sense of style that was quirky and free spirited. She was the brightest of shining stars and our lives are forever dim without her. Services to be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Visitation is from 1pm to 2pm followed by the service. Reception will be at Heritage West, 3322 I-69E recreation hall.
