Sally Potter

Sally Nannette Potter, 73 of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away December 16, 2012. She was born July 21, 1939 in Fort Edward, New York to Floyd Warren Bruso and Florence Ada Carpenter Bruso. Sally was very active at Annaville Baptist Church and sang in the church choir. She was always writing notes of encouragement to her family and friends. Sally enjoyed crocheting and giving gifts to her friends. Sally was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her husband, Gary Potter of Corpus Christi, Texas; sons, Gary (Tara) Potter, Jr. of Gulf Breeze, Florida, James (Roxanne) Potter of Corpus Christi, Texas, Brian (Stephanie) Potter of Katy, Texas; sisters, Janet Williams of New Jersey, Carol McGowan of Marianna, Florida, Christine Ward of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandchildren, Angela (Cody) Speegle of Corpus Christi, Texas, Gary Potter, III of San Antonio, Texas, Shelbilyn Potter of Corpus Christi, Texas, Taylor Potter of Sandia, Texas; great grandson, Cameron Speegle. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 12:30 P.M. at the Annaville Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Coastal Bend State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the Annaville Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
