Ruby Mae Anderson Boultinghouse Landry, 95, passed away peacefully at Oaks Nursing Home in Burnet, Texas after a short battle with the Covid-19 virus.
Ruby was born on March 2, 1925 to Frank and Ruby Anderson, in Agua Dulce, Texas. As a longtime Agua Dulce resident, she graduated from Agua Dulce High School and later became a Kindergarten Teacher’s aide there. Ruby was a lifelong member of the Agua Dulce Church of Christ and Marble Falls Church of Christ.
Ruby was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank V. (Jack) Boultinghouse; son, Jack Lynn (Jackie) Boultinghouse, and husband, SA Landry.
Ruby is survived by her brother, Frank Anderson of Corpus Christi, Texas ;daughters, Dolly (Mike) Montgomery of Marble Falls, Texas, and Becky (Tom) McEntire of Johnson City, Texas; grandchildren, Corey (Courtney) Montgomery of Rockport, Texas, Connor (Emily) Montgomery of Cuero, Texas, Kendall (Brian) Wilbanks of Houston, Texas, and Mason McEntire of Houston, Texas; great grandchildren, D’Laine Montgomery of Rockport, Texas, Kyler Jack Montgomery and Maelee Rose Montgomery of Cuero, Texas. Ruby also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.
Ruby will be remembered for her loving generosity, industriousness, and vivacious personality. She was passionate about her family, friends, and community. She was happiest when her home was filled with family and friends. Ruby loved everything outdoors; gardening, hunting, fishing, camping, and drinking coffee on her porch. Her many talents included woodworking, painting, hand crafts, and sewing. Teaching was a natural gift she generously shared. She was a doting Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother who will be remembered for her adventurous and fun-loving spirit.
Due to the recent surge in the Covid-19 virus there will be a Graveside Service at Evergreen Cemetery in Odem, Texas on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
