Ruby Fuqua

Odem, Texas Ruby Fuqua, 72, passed away Monday, January 4, 2010 at her daughter’s home in Round Rock, Texas after a long illness. She was born June 14, 1937 in Lead Cove, Newfoundland, Canada to Harold and Bessie Mae Button. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy “Bucky” Fuqua; her brother, Baxter Button. She is survived by her sons, Roy B. Fuqua, III and Harold B. Fuqua (Claudia); her daughter, Sharon Fuqua Musselman (Ronald); her sisters, Evelyn and Lillian; 7 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2010 in Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, January 9, 2010 at San Patricio Memorial Gardens in Portland. Burial will follow.
