Ronald Elsner

Ronald E. Elsner, 77, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 13, 1944 to his parents, Paul and Johnnie Mae Elsner.

Ron graduated from Ray High School and after graduation attended the University of Houston. He married his loving wife, Cheri Elsner on November 10, 1977.

He had a career as the owner of his own business R.E.E. Construction for many years. He never retired, but finally became unable to continue working due to the cancer that he was battling. Throughout his life, he was a passionate outdoorsman and he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Johnnie Mae Elsner. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Cheri Elsner; his children from his first marriage, Craig Floyd (Sharon), Tracy Floyd (Lisa) and Stacey Floyd-Austin.

A visitation will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with a funeral service to follow. The committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 at San Fernando Cemetery #3 in San Antonio, Texas at 1:00PM located at 1735 Cupples Rd. San Antonio, Texas 78226.
