Robert Wheeler

Robert Leroy Wheeler, 84, of Cuero, Texas, a former longtime resident of Robstown and Corpus Christi, Texas died Thursday, June 6, 2013. Bob was born in Rogers, Texas on July 28, 1928. He married on August 13, 1950 in Tokio, Texas. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Jean Bullock Wheeler; his children, Dwayne and Cathy Wheeler, Rich and Mary Wheeler, Karen and Joe Marquez, and Dean and Melanie Wheeler; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will begin at Noon with a funeral service to follow at 1 P.M. on Monday, June 10, 2013 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel in Corpus Christi, Texas. Graveside services will follow at Robstown Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to Camp Bandina Christian Encampment.
