Robert Prinz

Robert Allen Prinz, passed away on May 23,2015. He was born on October 31, 1936, in Manor, Texas. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Evelyn Prinz; his sister, Lucille McMurray; son, Keith Allen Prinz; grandson, John Robert Prinz Jr. and great grandson, Liam James Karadimos. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Gloria (Sherek); daughters, Susan Wilson, Sharon Luker (David), Sharlene Tate (Danny) and son, John Prinz (Julie); sisters, Phyllis Toler (Charlie) and Kathy Favor (Bill); daughter-in-law, Janna Prinz; 17 grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Robert served 2 years active duty in the US Army and 4 yearsin the reserves. He graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi, Texas and graduated with a Bachelors degree from Texas Lutheran College. He worked for GAB business services for 35 years as a insurance general adjuster specializing in the cotton industry. Robert had a passion for fishing with his sons. Visitation will take place from 6:00p.m. to 8:00pm Wednesday May 27,2015, at Sawyer George Funeral Home in Calallen, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2015 at 1:00pm at St John Lutheran Church, 3316 Hummingbird Lane, Robstown, Texas 78380. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park.
