Robert was a loving husband to Tina for 44 years. He was quick to tell anyone that he was fortunate to have her as his wife. Robert was an amazing man with a tender heart who loved and cared for his family and enjoyed hunting, cooking on the grill, sitting on the back porch and watching NASCAR & football. Robert loved sparring back & forth with Robert Charles & Jeremy about sports, especially A&M football. He was an avid hunter who enjoyed spending time with his friends & sons at the deer lease. Robert took pride in coaching all three of his sons throughout the years of Little League Baseball. He was an amazing friend who was never at a loss to make you laugh with his quick wit and one-of-a-kind one liners. Robert was like a Dad to many of Jacob's friends. As a new Grandpa, Robert was extremely proud of his grandson Miller, the newest addition to the family. He constantly talked about Miller, showing his pictures and bragging about him to everyone, and loved to FaceTime talk with him. Robert was a First Class machinist employed by EnDyn in Alice, Texas for the last 15 years and at Dixie Iron Works for the 30 years prior. He was a man dedicated to his trade.
