Robert Cleveland

Robert “Bob” Cleveland, 81, passed away January 19, 2019. He was born June 8, 1937 in Austwell, Texas to William and Lorene Gilbert Cleveland. He retired as the operations superintendent for the Exxon King Ranch Gas Plant. He was the chairman of the Deacons at Annaville Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his son, Doug Cleveland. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Joann Cleveland of Sandia, Texas; his daughter, Melissa Ann Cleveland of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren, Whitney Lindquist and her husband Mike of Hempstead, Texas, Courtney Bland of Dallas, Texas and Trenton Cleveland of Kingsville, Texas. Visitation with the family will be from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Annaville Baptist Church in Corpus Christi, Texas with Bro. Robert Simmons officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Evergreen Cemetery in Devine, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Annaville Baptist Church Building Fund.
