Robert W. Bickham, 63, passed away at home on February 22, 2017. Robert graduated from Calallen High School and proudly wore his Aggie ring, Texas A&M class of 1976. He spent many years working in the oil fields of Texas and Louisiana. He started his career working for Schlumberger and was later a longtime independent oil field consultant. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Tootie Bickham and his first wife, Karen Allen Bickham. He is survived by his wife, Helen; his step-children, Ryan (Sarah) Flores of Houston and their daughter Makena and Amber (Cooper) Prince of Corpus Christi and their children, Cooper and Dalton. Robert enjoyed being Grandpa. He is also survived by his step-father, Larry Bickham; brother, Allen (Terri) Bickham; sister, Cheryl (Pete) Fair; step-brother, Brad (Sarita) Bickham; step-sister, Sheri (Scott) James; nieces, Jessica (David) Reckart, Erin Bickham and Hailey (Rob) Adair and their daughter, Paige; nephews, Brady (Angela) Fair, Ben Fair and Allison Pulliam; longtime and best friend, Rip McCool. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow in Robstown Memorial Park Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Brady Fair, Ben Fair, Rip McCool, Rob Adair, Ryan Flores and Cooper Prince. Robert was a kind and gentle soul. He was loved and will be missed.
