Richard Henderson

Richard L. "Rick" Henderson, 66, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away at his home at 12:35 A.M. Saturday, November 5, 2011 after a long illness. He was born July 16, 1945 at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery, Alabama. Rick served in the U.S. Army Artillery in Vietnam from September 3, 1969 until September 1, 1970. He graduated from Texas Tech University in 1972. He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Alane Henderson; step children, Aaron Moore and Kelly Moore of San Antonio, Texas; father and stepmother, Ralph and Alice Henderson of San Antonio, Texas; sister, Patricia L. Taegel of Titusville, Florida; nephews, Jeffrey and Vincent Taegel. Memorial services will be conducted at 4 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the Believers Fellowship with Dr. Steve Bain officiating. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
