Rebecca Albert

Rebecca Sue (West) Albert, 68, passed away at her home on June 26, 2018 surrounded by her family. Becky was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on February 6, 1950 to Guy West, Jr. and Rita Wynn West. Becky graduated from Roy Miller High School in 1968 and began a long and successful secretarial career. “Miss Beck” was highly respected throughout the construction and oilfield industry as a skilled secretary with an outgoing personality. Becky retired from Texas Equipment Rental in 2016. She was of the Catholic faith and was an active member of St. Francis-Assisi Catholic Church at Lake Corpus Christi. She expressed every day that one of her greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. They all brought her so much pride and happiness.   Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Guy West, Jr. and Rita Wynn West. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Loren Albert; children, Nathan Albert, Keith Albert (Katrina), Erica Haigood (Vince); brothers, Gary West (Sharon), Richard West (Sharon); sisters, Judy West, Debby West, Cindy Morin (Alfred); her eleven grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.   Visitation will be held Friday, June 29, 2018 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, 12497 Leopard Street from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M that same evening. Funeral Services will be held at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery; 4607 FM 1889, Robstown, Texas.
