Reba Carol Keith, 82, of Corpus Christi Texas, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 after a long illness. She was born October 21, 1940, in Duncan, Oklahoma to Arthur and Thelma Earnhart.
She was the mother of two children and a devoted wife to a U.S. Coast Guard BMCS that took them all on adventures along the Gulf Coast to various towns and Coast Guard stations. After Jim’s retirement they chose Corpus Christi as their permanent home. Reba loved spending time with family and walking in her yard watching the butterflies and birds. She was friendly to all and never meet a stranger. She retired from Hertz where she helped run the local branch office at the CC Airport.
Preceding her in death was her husband, James (Jim) Keith; her father, Arthur Earnhart; mother, Thelma Buerger; step-father, Leon Buerger; step-sister, Brenda Earnhart; step-brother, Jimmy Don Buerger.
She is survived by her step-sister, Rita (Butch, deceased) Fisher; step-sister, Beverley Buerger Wells; step-brother, Clifton (Fran) Buerger; one daughter, April (Mike) McNabb of Corpus Christi; one son, Jeff Keith of Corpus Christi; two grandchildren, Amber (Daemon) Pina of San Antonio Texas; Preston Thomas McNabb of Austin Texas; a host of McNabb family members that always referred her as “Sweet Reba”.
A Graveside funeral will be conducted at 11:15 Monday, March 20, 2023, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas, where she will be buried with her loving husband.
