Raguet' (Gay) Rogers

September 5, 1957 — November 24, 2022

Corpus Christi

Raguet’ (Gay) Armstrong Rogers was called home to be with our Lord on November 24, 2022. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas on September 5, 1957 to her Parents Jack Rudd Armstrong and Lucille Ellie Armstrong. She is proceeded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dorothy Maiden and Kathleen Vecera and Stepfather Mac McLean.

She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Stephen Rogers. Her two children Jeremy Rogers and Stefanie Rogers Noska. Grandchildren Rebecca (Lance) Brown, Shane (Skyler)Rogers, Taylor Noska and Dylan Noska. Great grandchildren Acey, Brinley, Blakely, Ledger Brown and Bradley and Walker Rogers. Two Sisters Cindy (Richard) Moeller and Jacqueline Lance and several nieces and nephews whom she loved so deeply.

For the last 25 years she enjoyed being a stay at home wife, mom and Nana. The love she had for her family was endless. Her door was always open to all of her family and friends. Gay always welcomed everyone with open arms, kind words of wisdom and lots of love. She’s always had a love for gardening with a bright green thumb and could grow anything from just a seed. Music was a favorite of hers as well, from rock & roll to country and most everything in between. Most days she had the stereo turned up and you would find her singing as she went about her day rearranging furniture. She always took such great pride in her home and almost weekly rearranged one room or another. She struggled her entire life from the time she was a child of crippling pain from Rheumatoid arthritis. Always remembered crawling through the family home to be with her sisters, nieces and nephews. In her early 30’s the arthritis again took it’s toll but she would push through every single day. There wasn’t a day that went by that she’d lay around and pull the pity me card. Gay was so very strong willed and determined to push through life and make the best of what she had. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends. She is now at peace, resting, without pain.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
