R.G. (Bob) Crice entered into eternal peace on Tuesday, August 18, 2015. He was born November 16, 1931, in Arapho, Oklahoma to W. T. and Dicie Crice. Bob graduated from Dickson High School in 1948. On July 8, 1950, Bob married Wilda Gentry in Ardmore, Oklahoma. Soon after, Bob joined the United States Air Force where he served during the Korean War. In 1953, Bob and Wilda moved to South Texas where Bob worked for Central Power and Light Company (CPL) in Corpus Christi and Victoria areas for over 35 years. Bob was a member of the Calallen Baptist Church where he spent most Sundays helping out in a number of different capacities. He is survived by his wife, Wilda, who he was married to for 65 wonderful years, two sons; Michael and Stephen (Llupita), one nephew who is considered a son; Roger Gentry (Debra), and a niece who is considered a daughter; Beverly Dye (Ernest). Bob also has eight grandchildren; Kendra Stump (Gary), Shawn Stakes (Anthony), Dylan Crice, Ragan Crice, Rudy Rios, Carlos Rios, Nicholas Rios (Lauren) , Mathew Rios and three great grandchildren who were the lights of his life and more friends than we can possibly list. Interment will be in the Coastal Bend State Veteran Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas with no services planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Calallen Baptist Church or the Cancer Research Institute. The family wished to extend their gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of the ICU at the Heart Hospital for their exceptional support in his final days.
