Phillip Newman

Phillip “Stefan” Newman January 22, 1985 – April 3, 2017 Stefan was a beloved son, brother, and father. His presence was all consuming…He was a walking dichotomy-so very good and so very bad. He was handsome, fearless, brave, brutally strong, stubborn, protective and such a force that couldn’t be ignored. He led a tormented life plagued by heroin addiction, but despite his addiction he loved his family and friends fiercely. Our hearts ache for him and for the waste of such a precious life cut short through the horrific devastation of drug addiction. He is survived by his son, Logan Newman; mother and step father, Vance and Michelle Feiler; father, Robert Newman and siblings; Major Christopher D. Story, USMC, Brett Newman and sister, Katie Newman; his aunt, Stephanie Story. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral service be conducted at 11:00am on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
