Peggy Brinkman

Peggy Gene Brinkman, 76, passed away on March 18, 2013 after a sudden illness. She was born on December 7, 1936 in Brackettville, Texas to Floyd Earle and Mary Emagene Farris Gray. Peggy was a lifelong homemaker and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She enjoyed gardening, needlework, was an avid reader, excellent cook and baker, painter and lover of birds and animals. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Jerry Gray, her daughter, Melissa James, her son, James Brinkman, and her granddaughter, Sara Marshall. She is survived by her husband of forty-nine years, William Edward “Eddie” Brinkman; her daughters, Sheri (Marc) Marshall, Elizabeth (Steve) Holder, Sandra (Glen) Williams, Trina (Frank) DiPerna, and Sally Brinkman; her sons, Justin (Kelli) Moulder, Jeff (Melaine) Moulder, and William, Jr. (Dianna) Brinkman; twenty grandchildren; five great grandchildren; her aunt Alice Cragg; her niece, Stephanie Spreeman and numerous cousins. She will be greatly missed. Visitation will be from 2 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 5 P.M. until 7 P.M. Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, friends are asked to make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
