Paul Grimes, III, 28, of Calallen, Texas, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 from injuries received in an auto accident. He was born October 18, 1983 in Kingsville, Texas. Paul graduated from Calallen High School where he was active in the Texas High School Rodeo Association, the FFA, and attended Texas A&M University at Kingsville. He was a member of Journey Church and was employed at Valero Refinery in Three Rivers, Texas. He was born a true cowboy at heart and lived the cowboy way of life with God, family and work as his priorities. He trusted and saw the goodness in everyone. He shepherded others to seek and know the LORD Jesus Christ. He is dearly loved and will be missed by all. He is survived by his parents, Berlinda and Paul Grimes, Jr. of Robstown, Texas; his sister, Kaytie Grimes of Robstown, Texas; his fiancée, Kristine LaBonville of Robstown, Texas; his grandparents, Mary and Paul Grimes, Sr. and Aida and Jose Roel Alaniz, Sr. all of Falfurrias, Texas. Visitation will begin one hour before the funeral service at Journey Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Journey Church at I-37 and Callicoatte Road with Pastor Dean Bearden officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at Falfurrias Burial Park in Falfurrias, Texas. Pallbearers will be Cliffton Huey, Mitchell Crawford, Brett Keys, Freddy Medellin, Mark Roznovsky and Tress Stewart.
