Patrick Stutts

Patrick Eugene Stutts, 58, of Orange Grove, Texas, went to rest in the arms of the Lord on February 3, 2011 after a long illness. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. Patrick was born October 13, 1952 in Mountain View, Alaska to Wilbur and Gertrude Antill Stutts. Mr. Stutts was a U. S. Army veteran and served in Vietnam. He had served as an Assistant Scout Master for Troop 32, Boy Scouts of America, in Orange Grove, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, Sean Patrick Stutts. Jr. and a sister, Carma Lucas. He is survived by his loving wife with 30 years of marriage, Eva Stutts of Orange Grove, Texas; his sons, Steven P. Stutts of Orange Grove, Texas, Bryan P. (Stephanie) Stutts of Portland, Texas and Sean P. (Stephanie) Stutts of Orange Grove, Texas; his daughter, Melanie Stutts of Orange Grove, Texas; his sisters, Marty (Tim) Matthews of Georgia and Norma Butler of Florida; his grandchildren, Austin, Kristalee, Heather, Ethan and Patrick; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 2 P.M until 9 P.M. with the Rosary to be recited at 7 P.M. on Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 A.M. Monday, February 7, 2011 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel with Father Sebastian officiating. Burial will follow at St. John of the Cross Cemetery in Orange Grove, Texas.
