Patricia Gallagher

Patricia Ann "Pat" Gallagher passed away on December 19, 2013 at the age of 77 after battling cancer. She was born on December 9, 1936 in Houston Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Evelyn Williams Johnston and Raymond Victor Johnston (originally from Iberia and Crocker Missouri); and her brother, Raymond Victor Johnston, Jr. Pat spent her early years in El Campo, Texas but later graduated from Roy Miller High School. She met her husband Benjamin John "Bennie" Gallagher in Corpus Christi where they were married on September 15, 1956 at the Corpus Christi Cathedral. Pat and Bennie lived and worked on the family farm. They were blessed with two children and their families. Son. Richard Lee Gallagher, his spouse Kelly and daughters Megan and Erin; daughter, Anna Marie Gallagher, her spouse Albert Trevino (deceased) and son, Derek Trevino. Pat is also survived by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Johnston Boeye and brother-in-law, John Boeye and their children Cynthia Boeye Anderson, John Robert Boeye and Elizabeth Boeye; and sister-in-law Anne Gallagher Middour. Pat was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her husband and family have been blessed with her love, strength and commitment. Pat's friends found she was someone that could be counted on for support. All enjoyed her sense of humor. Pat's love for family and friends on many occasions involved a well-cooked meal. In remembrance of Patricia Ann Gallagher donations can be made to two Hospice providers that were most helpful in her care. Christus Hospice and Palliative Care and/or Girling Primary Home Care, both of Corpus Christi. Texas According to Pat's wishes her body will be cremated with a memorial service to be announced and conducted at a later date.
