Ninfa Nava Ochoa went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday March 27. She was born on November 12, 1923, in Kingsville, Texas. She was a mother and grandmother who cherished precious moments with her family. She was a home-maker all her life and enjoyed gardening, baking, and sewing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel B. Ochoa, son Robert Ochoa, parents Francisco and Josefa Nava, brothers Robert Nava, Horacio Nava, Rojelio Nava, Fidel Nava, and grand-daughters Delinda Vorvette, and Natalie Jo Flores. She is survived by her brothers Genaro Nava, El Monte, California and Raul Nava, San Antonio, Texas; sons Daniel Ochoa (Yolanda), Richard Ochoa (Mary Alice), Frankie Ochoa (Emma Chapa) and daughter Berta Flores, all of Corpus Christi, Texas; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 pm on Thursday March 30, 2017 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel, 12497 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Friday March 31, 2017 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 710 S. 19th St., Corpus Christi, Texas. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers are Richard Ochoa, Pete Flores, Michael Flores, Richard Dean Ochoa, James Daniel Gongora, and Rachel Flores.
