Nicole Stich

Nicole Stich, of Corpus Christi, Texas died Sunday, May 21, 2017 at Spohn Shoreline hospital after a long fight against melanoma. Born in Corpus Christi, Texas, January 30, 1987, to the late James Stich and Crystal Lieseke, Nicole pursued her love of nursing when she was not battling her disease with all her heart and strength. Nicole will always be remembered for her strong love of friends and family, her welcoming heart, and her desire to take care of others. She was known to have many children in her home laughing and playing together and very much enjoyed getting together with a group of people. She was very creative and enjoyed cooking, baking, arts and crafts of all kinds, and being involved in cub scouts and later boy scouts for her son Aiden. Her cakes were a popular feature at many parties and she loved making hair bows and tutus for her nieces. Nicole is survived by her fiancé, Ryan Adams of Corpus Christi, her son Aiden; her brothers James Stich of Corpus Christi and Joshua Stich of League City, Texas; step-brother, Kevin Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas; step-sister, Rylee Lieseke of Medical Lake, Washington; mother, Crystal Lieseke and step-mother Heather Lieseke of Medical Lake Washington; uncles, Steve Stich (Sherry) of League City, Texas, Billy Worthington of Corpus Christi, Texas, Earl Worthington (Lisa) of Beaumont, Texas, and Laura Worthington of Corpus Christi, Texas; nieces, Maddison and Mallarie Stich of Hensley, Arkansas; and numerous cousins. Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 6 pm to 7 pm, at Sawyer-George Funeral Home, 12497 Leopard Street, Corpus Christi, Texas and the Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday May 24, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church 16602 F.M. 624, Robstown, Texas 78380.
