CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Nelva Lucille (Hatten) Ryals, 87, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at her home. She was born November 6, 1933 in Monroe, La. To Huey Luis and Gladys Mae (Jackson) Hatten. Mrs. Ryals was a CPA.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert “Bobby” Ryals.
She is survived by her three sons; Marlon (Gloria) Ryals, Larry Ryals and Kenneth (Stephanie) Ryals ; Her sisters, Dottie Sue (Bob) Odom, Margaret Ruth (James) Young and Catherine Anita (Bobby) Stewart; twenty-one grandchildren; fifty-three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 8, 2021 from 6pm to 7 pm with a prayer service to follow at 7 pm in Sawyer-George Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Oak Grove Cemetery 5302 Hwy 483 in Converse, La. with a graveside service held at 2:30pm
