Nell Smith

Nell Smith, 87, of Corpus Christi, Texas, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2012. She was born July 6, 1925 in Sinton, Texas to Forest Holloway and Susie Vickers Holloway. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and very active member of Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe M. Smith in 1997, her daughters, Susan Adams and Alice Nell Smith, her brothers, William, Jack and Doug Holloway and her sister, Edna Moore. She is survived by her grandsons, Brad (Wendy) Freeman of Corpus Christi, Texas and Clint (Tamra) Freeman of Pflugerville, Texas; great grandchildren, Tyler, Hunter, Kailea, Haleigh and Kirsten Freeman; her brother, Theodore (Margaret) Holloway of Leander, Texas; her sister, Betty (D. L.) Turner of Bertram, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. with the family present from 6 P.M. until 7 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2012 at Sawyer-George Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Tuloso-Midway Baptist Church with Pastor John McAllister officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens.
